After the Grand Finals of the ĐTDV Spring 2025 season concluded with a victory for Saigon Phantom, an unexpected controversy arose that stirred the gaming community. During the award ceremony, the players from Team Flash were reported to not receive the championship trophy, leading to significant outrage and debate. Many believe that the players’ attitude during this incident displayed a lack of respect towards the awards and the organizing committee. However, the management of the team has come forward to clarify the situation and “clear the name” for their players.

Before the criticism, the management of Team Flash officially addressed the issue: “The fact that Team Flash did not receive the championship trophy is a completely unexpected situation.” – Đinh Hồng Phương stated. On her personal page, she expressed her deep feelings.
The following is a summary of the management’s statements regarding the situation:
“After the defeat in Round 7, I felt like I was thrown into a different dimension. From the moment we lost the match, I went down to the Tactical Room, then had to go back on stage to receive the award, feeling like I was in a dream. I felt as if I couldn’t hear myself speak, even though I was right there.”
– Look at that!
– Just look!
– No, just look!
– Look here…
And what did I say back?
The answer I gave back was just the images of lost friendships – truly meaningful indeed. I also had to Google to confirm that this term is indeed correct: “Lost friendship: a state of emotional loss caused by excessive damage or strong psychological impact.”
Each place has a different way of dealing with the aftermath, but the common point is: I felt completely disconnected from everything around me. I seemed to be lost in a state of isolation, unable to feel anything from the environment anymore. I won’t delve into how it felt, but I can affirm one thing: The fact that Team Flash did not receive the championship trophy is a completely unexpected situation.”
Many places have their own ways of dealing with the aftermath, but the common point is: I felt completely disconnected from everything around me. I seemed to be lost in a state of isolation, unable to feel anything from the environment anymore. I won’t go into detail about how it felt, but I can affirm one thing: The fact that Team Flash did not receive the championship trophy is a completely unexpected situation.
During the first time back on stage, carrying the heavy responsibilities of those who love them, I felt a mix of excitement and doubt based on the reactions from the audience. Aside from the meticulous rehearsals, everything that happened on stage felt overwhelming. The first time on stage, which was in a large venue like Tiên Sơn, everything felt fresh and somewhat shocking. There were moments when the audience was still stunned – due to the difference in sound quality between the headsets (sound isolation – white noise – voice com) and the ambient noise as if it were flying out of the Thể Thao Palace. Anyone who was present at Tiên Sơn could confirm how unprepared we felt during that moment.
In addition to clarifying the situation, Team Flash’s management also shared some behind-the-scenes details to help the community understand the situation better. According to them, they had a quick exchange with the teams involved:
– June: When we were up on stage, what was happening? We had to keep our heads held high! This time it was a bit… it was a bit tough. We just noticed that our team seemed to have performed well today, just a little bit less…
– Player 1: When we were on stage, what was going on? I still don’t even know why I was able to step up there! Whatever anyone said while I was up, I couldn’t hear. I only had one thought in my mind: why did we lose, which round did we lose, and why was I still here? I just wanted to go home!
– Another Player: Honestly, up there on stage it was so loud, I didn’t even know what was happening while I was up there. Then the way people were saying things, I didn’t want to accept…

“A picture can be worth a thousand words.”
In conclusion, it has been a difficult experience, a true emotional loss, a complete disconnection from the space I was in where no one could understand… Everything has been stripped of color for the finals, and when expressing disappointment, it was still the bitter taste of tears from the players, who barely knew each other, not having had the chance to connect with them even for just 5 seconds to understand their personalities. My teammates might not be the most skillful, but they are definitely not the kind of players who would shy away.
I love them anyway!
p/s: Thank you Captain Maris and Coach Jinwoo for quickly preparing the trophy for me in the moment of crisis.
And thanks to the Flazers out there – those who have always been by my side through thick and thin. Your support is an endless source of motivation for us to continue fighting.
After the management’s announcement, the gaming community has shown a more positive attitude. Many have expressed their sympathy and support towards the teams. However, there are still some opinions suggesting that the handling of the situation regarding the lack of a trophy for the team was unprofessional and needs to be revised.

The controversy surrounding Team Flash’s lack of a championship trophy in the ĐTDV Spring 2025 finals has sparked significant debate within the gaming community. However, through the management’s explanation, the community has gained a clearer understanding of the situation and offered a more objective perspective.
