A “Suffering” in T1 Drama – Gumayusi’s Silence Remains
In the drama surrounding T1 – Gumayusi – Smash, the largest character within the coaching staff of this team, including CEO Joe Marsh and GM Becker, has become a topic of discussion. When it comes to the role of substitute players who do not have the authority to intervene in the profession or the decisions of the leaders, there is one character who can be considered a “suffering” yet has shown an almost total silence until now, which is the coaching staff led by Head Coach KkOma, Mata, and Tom.

Recently, despite being advised to make decisions or having some “mysterious” elements, it seems that the T1 coaching staff will have to work with the management. The CEO of T1 – Joe Marsh even revealed that the coaching staff recommended raising Smash to participate in the LCK Cup 2025. Therefore, even when it seems like the CEO’s direction is quite opposite, the coaching staff also needs to provide some statements for the fans of this team.

As of now, the Regular Seasons 2025 have begun, but all the statements made by the T1 coaching staff to fans have only been simple information about “rotation” and “data collection.” Of course, this information has now become a present reality, and the subsequent divisions from the T1 management have shown considerable improvement. However, Coach KkOma has yet to make any new statements.

The League of Legends Community and T1 Fans Feel the Strain
The silence of the T1 coaching staff has indeed made many fans feel uneasy. It seems that the management does not allow any “beyond the rules” statements, but under the condition that the coaching staff must ensure T1 achieves good results. Currently, even the in-game performances are also affecting T1. As a leading team with a championship title in the World Championship, T1 fans cannot be satisfied with the “achievement” described as “the team has only slightly edged out Hanwha Life Esports.”

With the Regular Seasons approaching, along with MSI, EWC, and the World Championship afterwards (if any), these will be the opportunities for T1 to regain the trust of their fans. However, if there are any wrong choices made, the situation could become more dire in the remaining part of the season.
