On the official website of the Naruto brand, it has been announced that the anime series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will conclude its first part after the airing of episode 293. This episode is scheduled to be released on March 26th in Japan. Thus, after six years of continuous broadcasting, the anime, adapted from the manga written by Ukyou Kodachi and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto, will officially close its first part.

Previously, Ukyou Kodachi and Mikio Ikemoto began serialization of the manga in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine by Shueisha in May 2016, and later transferred it to V Jump magazine in July 2019. The publishing house has released the thirteenth volume, which is also the last volume written by Ukyou Kodachi, as he was subsequently replaced by Masashi Kishimoto. In 2017, the anime adaptation produced by Pierrot started airing.
Additionally, the press release also revealed that the second part of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is currently in production.

However, there is one more interesting piece of information, which is that a new anime project is set to premiere in September this year. This project is part of the celebration for the 20th anniversary of the Naruto franchise.
Events and activities related to the 20th anniversary of the Naruto brand have also been announced. The first is a rebroadcast of selected episodes from the original Naruto series along with a newly animated version in July.
“NARUTO THE LIVE” – a special music concert featuring contributions from KANA-BOON, CHICO, along with Honeyworks, FLOW, Humbreaders, Anly, and other artists, will be held on September 2nd and 3rd at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture. Notably, the “NARUTO THE LIVE” program will not be available for online streaming outside of Japan.

Directed by Hayato Date and produced by Studio Pierrot along with TV Tokyo, the Naruto anime first aired in Japan on October 3, 2002, and completed 220 episodes by February 8, 2007. Since its launch until its conclusion, and even up to the present day, Naruto remains an iconic title cherished by many anime fans.
