In the midst of big-name releases like Monster Hunter Wilds, Civilization 7, and Clair Obscur, a title that stands out for its intriguing appeal is Keep Driving.
With its latest updates and a price tag that’s already one of the lowest in the industry, this indie game is carving out a niche as one of the most unique RPGs to play in 2025.

At first glance, Keep Driving doesn’t resemble a conventional role-playing game. However, its gameplay encompasses unique elements typical of this genre: turn-based combat, team building, unlocking unique skills, and resource management – instead of focusing on HP or mana, players must manage fuel, environmental effects, and vehicle status.
Set against a backdrop reminiscent of the summer of the 2000s, players take on the role of a free-spirited young adult, navigating through various states with their first vehicle. The main mission? To travel from home across the state to reach a music festival. Notably, players have complete freedom to stop at any point, interact with the environment, upgrade their cars, or meet other travelers – each character has its own storyline and unique quest.

The combat system in Keep Driving is equally engaging. Players will encounter various obstacles like fallen trees, roadblocks, and even speed bumps. Each time a player faces a challenge, they must utilize their unique skills to mitigate negative effects such as losing fuel, damaging the vehicle, or facing environmental hazards. As more passengers join the journey – effectively becoming part of the team – the player must navigate various incidents, including trash, smoke, and other unfavorable conditions. The game’s ratings on Steam are exceptionally positive compared to similar titles.

Importantly, alongside its recent updates, Keep Driving is currently on sale on Steam, bringing its price down to approximately 215,000 VND, the lowest it has been to date.
