Anti-Fan’s “Self-Destruction” of Gumayusi Leaves the League of Legends Community in Tears
Following the drama surrounding T1 and Gumayusi during the LCK Cup 2025, a group of anti-fans has begun to gain notoriety, known as T1Gall. This group is believed to have originated from the die-hard fans of Faker, with their main target being Gumayusi. They claim that the audience perceives him as the new visual of T1 if there comes a day when Faker retires from his career. However, the reckless actions of the T1Gall group and the silence from T1 have left the community extremely frustrated. Recently, the T1Gall group has taken a new approach, causing many to “cry tears of despair.”

According to reports, lately, players have frequently been duoing outside of scrims and ranked matches in the Arena. However, this has only become fodder for these anti-fans to attack those uninvolved, dubbing them Gumom (a term used to refer to the fans of Gumayusi). Notably, among these players are many top-tier LCK stars like Ruler, Viper, and even Faker himself.
It can be easily noted that the actions against Gumayusi are increasingly excessive and lack any distinction in their targets. Just recently, during the match between T1 and KT, this anti-fan group also became the “perpetrators” behind a truck protest against T1 and Gumayusi that moved from the SK Telecom headquarters to T1’s headquarters. It’s worth mentioning that this day also marked Faker’s 1000th match.

But for many, the drama between T1 and Gumayusi may not be over yet
As of now, Smash has returned to T1 Challengers, and Gumayusi has also resumed his familiar position on the roster. For many fans, it remains uncertain how the future will unfold, but currently, this is a matter that has been resolved. The next focal point of interest remains the performance of the T1 players.

And this is likely a turning point for closing out the drama. The anti-fan group Gumayusi may only be able to express their frustrations on social media without being able to do anything else.
