“Shot on iPhone” by Apple Returns with the MV “Catch the Sound”
Recently, just a few minutes ago (January 17), singer Wren Evans officially released the music video “Catch the Sound” on his personal YouTube channel. The MV was launched just before the Lunar New Year, as well as only a few days after the male singer released the audio version on social media platforms.

It can be seen that “Catch the Sound” is a very noteworthy MV as this product is a collaboration between Wren Evans and Apple’s Shot on iPhone campaign. “Catch the Sound” is a proclamation of Vietnamese culture, a new message that opens up and honors the vibrant energy of music and dance. This music video is proof of the incredible filming capabilities of the iPhone 16 Pro, directed by C Prinz – who previously collaborated with Charli XCX and Billie Eilish in the hit MV “Guess”.

Not only bringing lively sound, the new MV also utilizes advanced stabilization technology of the Dynamic Action Mode to capture the rapid, powerful movements of Wren Evans. Simultaneously, it showcases a series of amazing visuals of BMX riders, skateboarders, and dancers moving around him. Furthermore, the iPhone 16 Pro’s 5x Telephoto Camera helps capture zoom shots of Wren from various angles, using 4K120 fps quality for Slo-mo to accentuate the dynamic energy as Wren and his crew perform on the big stage…
Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” Campaign Continues to Impress Audiences!
It is known that Wren Evans’ “Catch the Sound” MV is the second time Apple has launched the “Shot on iPhone” campaign in Vietnam. Previously, Apple collaborated with singer Tlinh in the MV “Make it Up”, released on January 26, 2024.

Tlinh’s MV has already garnered over 61 million views, marking a significant milestone as the first “big player” in the global tech industry to engage with Vietnamese artists in the iPhone 15 Pro advertising campaign. Now, Wren Evans continues to bring vibrant energy to the community with “Catch the Sound.”
Of course, the process of collaboration between Wren Evans and Apple to create the MV is not simple. Sharing with the audience, director C Prinz stated:
“Filming this entire music video with the iPhone 16 Pro Max opened up a whole new perspective for me in filmmaking. With the iPhone’s incredible portability, we could shoot in ways that traditional cameras could not achieve. This project has truly been a passionate endeavor, from the initial idea to the final details of the visuals. I really hope the audience feels the energy and connection with the story we created together.”

Regarding Wren Evans, the male singer also shared: “Being part of this Shot on iPhone campaign is a great honor for me, especially as the video honors the creative values of Vietnam with the approaching Lunar New Year. This song carries deep personal meaning, reflecting Wren’s love for music and the passion for creating impactful moments…”

“Working with C Prinz has truly been a source of inspiration, as her perspective has pushed Wren to be more creative. Moreover, the experience of filming the entire session with the iPhone has opened Wren’s eyes greatly. It must be said that the quality and creative capabilities are truly impressive, especially as Dynamic Action Mode captures all the movements, bringing energy to create unique angles that are more vivid. Wren is excited for everyone to experience this music video!”
