The first movie of Attack on Titan is primarily a compilation film that brings together the final episodes of the anime series. However, this does not mean that MAPPA has neglected the fans. “The Last Attack” is set to premiere in the Northern Hemisphere at the end of this month, even though it has already had its debut in theaters in Japan.
The after-credit scene has sparked discussions among many anime enthusiasts, as it features a completely new perspective focusing on a very different version of the protagonist. While the film has provided various viewpoints on Eren, Mikasa, and Armin, a fresh look at Levi’s environment has emerged.

The after-credit scene of Attack on Titan: The Last Attack is based on the segment “Attack on School Castes.” In this alternate reality, the main characters have become students in a three-dimensional setting, shifting the focus from their previous roles to that of high school students.
In the preview for this scene, anime fans witnessed Eren, Armin, and Mikasa breaking through the school walls while experiencing the reality of watching The Last Attack at the premiere. Although these three characters have appeared in some images, we only now see what this reality offers for Levi.
Levi Becomes a Sanitation Worker

While Levi’s environment may still be filled with Titans, he also keeps his own home tidy. Throughout Attack on Titan, his meticulous nature and commitment to maintaining a clean environment have become defining traits of his character. In the alternate reality of Attack on School Castes, Levi dives straight into the life of a sanitation worker, fully immersing himself in a new passion as he no longer has to contend with the nation of Marley. You can see Levi in his new role in the image below.

Levi is portrayed as an ordinary person with a unique development arc that doesn’t encounter any major obstacles, making his role as a sanitation worker particularly significant within the series.
A Special Story About Levi
Author Hajime Isayama has hinted that he has plans for a follow-up to Attack on Titan. However, he also has a strong desire to revisit his earlier characters through special manga chapters. Recently, the mangaka released a new story focusing on Levi’s past in “Attack on Titan: Bad Boy.”
Published as part of the art book – Attack on Titan: Fly, this story illustrates the days when Levi was still an inexperienced soldier. Although Levi did not face Titans in his youth, he encountered various obstacles that shaped him into the person he is today. We might not see this story animated soon, but Hajime seems eager to return to his characters’ earlier lives.
