Ditto, known as Metamon in Japanese, is a portmanteau of the words Metamorhp (transformation) and Mon (from Pokemon). Ditto has the unique ability to replicate the genetic code of other Pokémon, allowing it to transform into an exact copy. It can be said that this is one of the highly regarded Pokémon due to its special transformation abilities, which have made it a favorite among many trainers. In Pokemon GO, this Pokémon is also classified as rare and has only recently begun to appear more frequently.
However, according to a recent discovery, the ability to transform into different Pokémon may not be an exclusive “signature” skill of Ditto. In fact, even the yellow Pikachu can possess this special ability. To illustrate this, a Twitter account from Japan named Pujiro shared moments where Pikachu transformed into other Pokémon.
