Before the reappearance of the manga in spring, Asta and Yuno previously managed to pressure Lucius, but they had no idea they were merely pawns in a larger scheme! Lucius “truly” appeared in Chapter 379, confirming that he had linked his existence with the entire Grimoire Tower. In a shocking display of power, Lucius committed an act no one dared to imagine: he killed three main characters who had been introduced since the very first chapters of the saga.

It is no surprise that Julius held Marx in high regard. The bright future and potential he once had were tragically extinguished by Lucius’s ruthless actions.
