This latest update introduces a fresh gameplay mode that players can experience. Specifically, players will have the option to take on bosses they’ve previously defeated in solo mode after completing the main storyline, rather than only facing them again in New Game Plus modes. This allows players to dedicate a day to “honing their skills” with the character of their choice, since each New Game only encounters specific bosses once. Additionally, these challenges will be categorized into three distinct difficulty levels.
Alongside the challenge mode, a new continuous challenge feature will also be integrated into the gameplay. Essentially, players will face a series of continuous challenges against various enemies at increasing difficulty levels. Notably, players will need to complete the challenges in one sitting; otherwise, they will have to restart the entire challenge sequence. The difficulty of these challenges is expected to be higher than previous iterations, especially if players choose to customize their characters significantly. Furthermore, this new update hints that Black Myth: Wukong could potentially introduce new armor sets or skins to celebrate the new year.
Currently, the Steam version has not yet received these updates. Therefore, only those with accounts for Black Myth: Wukong on the Epic Games Store will have the opportunity to explore and delve deeper into this fresh content.
