Since its launch at the end of October 2024, Wangyue has attracted over 3 million registered players within just two months. The game is set to enter its first closed beta test in China today (January 9).
What Makes Wangyue Special?

The main character, Qing Wu, embarks on a journey of self-discovery, facing numerous challenges to uncover secrets hidden within this dynamic world.

However, this game places a strong emphasis on cutting-edge technology, particularly in AI design. Wangyue’s gameplay also integrates various styles, creating an environment reminiscent of GTA, while capturing the essence of battles similar to Pokémon. The mechanics resemble those of miHoYo’s games… In many ways, the current gameplay of Wangyue feels like a “melting pot,” despite the skepticism from the gaming community.
