In September 2019, Natalie Brown, a Canadian woman, began searching for a quick recipe to prepare before dinner but accidentally uncovered a horrifying secret about her boyfriend, Conor Dolan.
According to the Daily Mail, when Brown accessed Dolan’s laptop and typed the letter “f” to search for the Food Network website, she inadvertently stumbled upon a disturbing page.
The shocking revelation came when she logged into the website, immediately encountering graphic content that detailed various disturbing themes and dating trends.
What startled Brown even more was that the account she had logged into belonged to her boyfriend, Dolan. The profile also featured Dolan’s location, a shocking assortment of preferences and dating trends he had shared. Notably, their dog, Winston, appeared in several photos.
At the end of Dolan’s profile, Brown discovered a video clip recorded during a casual encounter between her and Dolan. Although the video focused mainly on Dolan, Brown’s face was not clearly visible, yet she recognized herself, her familiar figure, and the way she held herself.

When confronting her boyfriend, Dolan repeatedly apologized and admitted to having uploaded the video. However, he claimed that he did not intend to “exploit” Brown. Dolan hastily deleted the video and did not use the disturbing website anymore.
Initially, Brown trusted Dolan, but on Christmas Eve 2019, she discovered on Dolan’s phone that he still received messages from other women. This revelation left her feeling utterly betrayed and led her to decide to break up. Despite this, they continued to maintain a cordial relationship and co-parent their dog, Winston.
Brown thought the matter was behind them, but four years later, a male friend of hers revealed that Dolan had still been using the website without her consent. This discovery made Brown anxious as she had not yet checked to see if Dolan had truly deleted the video.
Upon checking, she was horrified to find the video still available on the website, Dolan’s account still active, and even updated with his age information. Immediately, Brown contacted a lawyer and decided to report it to the police.
The police investigation revealed that Dolan had reactivated his account in February 2020, and the video had been circulating online for four years. Eventually, after the Canadian Justice Department, through CyberScan, intervened, the video was finally removed from the website.
However, Brown could not be certain that the video had not been stored, shared, or re-uploaded elsewhere, so she decided to sue Dolan for damages.

Under Canadian law, Dolan was charged with unauthorized recording and distribution of private images without consent. Initially, Dolan pleaded not guilty, but during the proceedings, he admitted to the exploitative behavior.
Ultimately, the court sentenced Dolan to four months in prison and prohibited him from contacting Brown. Despite this, throughout the trial, Brown had to endure continuous harassment and distress, impacting her mental health and social relationships significantly.
Nevertheless, she decided to speak out about her experience, hoping to raise awareness about the serious nature of such crimes and to advocate for stricter laws to protect individuals.
“I had been a victim for four years. My privacy was violated, my life was ruined. But I hope my pain can bring about change,” Brown shared.
