During a discussion on Reddit, a fan speculated: “It must be Sarada because she is the only remaining member of the Uchiha clan today. And she could potentially be the next host of the Rinnegan, if this theory and some other theories are correct.”
Although this is a fan theory, many Boruto enthusiasts do not agree with it and presented their own logical arguments against it. One fan pointed out: “I think Indra is the son of Hagoromo and he does not possess the Rinnegan. Moreover, he only carries 25% of the Otsutsuki bloodline. Besides, no one has ever mentioned Sarada’s chakra being special in any way.”
Another fan also expressed skepticism about this theory, regarding Sarada’s upcoming transformations in Boruto Part 2 and wrote: “All of you seem to forget what Hagoromo said: ‘Even if a parent has special abilities, it does not guarantee that the child will inherit them.’ Let’s stop crafting this definitive storyline around Sarada.”
Boruto Part 2 is becoming increasingly distinct from the previous series, and the main characters are being significantly empowered. However, whether these changes will result in Sarada’s character development in Boruto Part 2 remains unclear.
