Doctor Strange is set to premiere in November 2016, and Marvel fans are incredibly excited as they welcome this new character, a powerful sorcerer, into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, portrayed by actor Benedict Cumberbatch.
Not only is Doctor Strange getting his own standalone film, but Marvel also has many other significant plans involving this magical character.
In a recent promotional image for the upcoming film Thor: Ragnarok, actor Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor, has fans speculating that Doctor Strange will at least make a cameo appearance in this film.
The image above shows Chris Hemsworth holding a yellow business card. The card displays the address 177A Bleecker St. For dedicated Marvel fans, it’s easy to recognize that this address is indeed Doctor Strange’s residence, which has been referenced multiple times in comic book versions.
Therefore, it is highly likely that in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok, our hero Thor will embark on a journey to New York, where he will encounter the master sorcerer, Doctor Strange. It remains unclear whether Doctor Strange will play a significant role in the film’s plot or simply appear as a guest character.
Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled to be completed and released on November 3, 2017.
