miHoYo Returns with a “Light” Item, But Unintentionally Creates a Super Bug?
Recently, during the event series celebrating the new year, miHoYo has introduced a new item, returning to Genshin Impact after more than 4 years. This item is the Xiao Lantern (Luminous Lantern) – an item that first appeared in version 1.3 and has completely vanished until now. This is a decorative item that allows players to summon a lantern to float in the air, especially with the option to purchase a large quantity using Mora.

However, these Luminous Lanterns still have a very notorious game bug. Specifically, when summoned, they can disrupt the character’s abilities, causing damage to monsters. This game bug has appeared since version 1.3. However, after the end of the version, these Luminous Lanterns also disappeared, and this bug was forgotten.

Recently, after they returned, many players of Genshin Impact discovered that this bug still exists. Moreover, some players successfully found a method to deal 1 trillion damage in just 1 second, which is quite mind-blowing.
How to Deal 1 Trillion Damage in Genshin Impact
Specifically, players need to use the character Hu Tao to execute this “trillion damage combo.” After a series of skill activations from the supporting characters, the player needs to use multiple Luminous Lanterns simultaneously, then quickly unleash the ultimate skill. It’s that simple, but the game developers may have to suffer from the consequences of this overwhelming damage in practice.

According to estimates, players need about 10,000 Luminous Lanterns to potentially deal 1 trillion damage instantly. Theoretically, it is possible, but meeting these conditions is also quite challenging, including resource availability and the player’s perseverance. Currently, this bug has not yet been fixed by miHoYo. Therefore, players should quickly “experiment” today before it’s too late.
