Chovy Shares Insights About T1
Recently, Gen.G has surpassed AL and secured its spot in the first round of the MSI 2025 finals. It’s worth noting that while AL is the number one seed from the LPL region, no one doubts Chovy and his team’s capabilities in this highly competitive landscape. However, a victory is still a victory, and currently, Gen.G can comfortably “hold the upper hand” in the battle against T1 and BLG. Notably, Chovy has made some noteworthy comments about the “rival” T1 team.

According to Chovy, he noted: “Both teams are very strong and have shown excellent performances. Especially, T1 recently has been performing quite differently. It’s hard to predict which team will win. However, I personally think T1 can reach the finals.”
Chovy’s Observations About T1 Are Valid
Firstly, T1 has shown signs of vulnerability: they are struggling to resolve various issues since the start of the season, particularly with their form and the performance of Doran, along with individual player dynamics. Notably, Doran has achieved three MVP awards in three consecutive matches, despite having to contend with “living legends” like Zeus or the dual Top Lane strategy utilized by CFO. It appears that Doran has overcome significant mental pressure, at least reflecting on his current performance.

On the other hand, BLG boasts a wealth of international competition experience, and their top player Doran will be up against Bin – a player who Doran has not yet faced in previous matches. However, if this time, T1’s superstar can effectively tackle the challenge posed by the highly skilled opponents, the path to claiming the MSI title will become clearer, dispelling any doubts regarding T1’s Top Lane prospects.
