Chovy Shares Insights on “Pentakill” and Current Performance
Currently, Gen.G might be the brightest star in the race for the 2025 Regular Season championship, as well as the upcoming MSI 2025. According to Chovy, the reason he feels this way is that this season, pentakills have occurred quite frequently. He feels that this reality has somewhat diminished the rarity of these moments: “Pentakills have appeared a lot recently, so I think their value has decreased a bit. Therefore, I don’t feel particularly happy about achieving one (winning 1 pentakill). However, I really appreciate my teammates who have supported me so that I could execute that situation.”

This is a very positive development, but it’s crucial for the team to maintain its momentum leading into international tournaments, particularly MSI and the World Championship (Worlds). Thus, Chovy’s “nonchalance” regarding personal achievements is also a reflection of his mindset. Above all, he is acutely aware that the ultimate goal is to win the Worlds title. If they can overcome a spectacular season, Gen.G and Chovy will face “divine challenges” that can surpass any championship title.
