Is Genshin Impact About to Introduce a New Powerful DPS Character?
Recently, players of Genshin Impact have been buzzing with excitement over Ifa, the latest character revealed by miHoYo during the live version 5.5 event. Currently, Ifa is the newest character in the game, with a storyline connected to many characters in Natlan. The design of this character is also quite striking.
However, since detailed information about Ifa has not been fully disclosed, fans of Genshin Impact continue to experience a sense of “unrest” with the emergence of information about another new character. This character is expected to debut immediately after Ifa, likely appearing in version 5.7.
According to leaker Seele, this character is named Effie – a dark chef hailing from Fontaine. Effie is described as very beautiful and is said to resemble the character Pecorine from the popular game Princess Connect! Re:Dive. Effie is confirmed to be a DPS character, with a role and abilities that are expected to be as powerful as those of the current Natlan characters.
Is Effie from Genshin Impact Worth the Investment?
According to Seele, Effie is quite a unique character as she can potentially team up with Furina and Skirk (who is set to debut soon). Although she is a standard DPS character, Effie has the ability to unleash attacks “outside of the field,” similar to two skill types of Furina, which can create incredibly powerful combos. It’s still uncertain whether this ability will be available before or after Skirk’s release, but it’s expected that Effie will serve as a “key asset” to unlock a powerful DPS formation in conjunction with Skirk in the future.
Currently, there is still very little information available about this new character. It is also possible that this is just a preliminary leak that may be revised in the future if no positive feedback is recorded.
