The title currently being discussed in this story is Dragon Age: The Veilguard – a blockbuster that many gamers associate with the familiar Vietnamese title “Tuổi Thần”.
Since its recent release in 2024, Dragon Age: The Veilguard has received numerous mixed reviews. It has been a decade since the previous installment, Inquisition, and the Dragon Age series has launched a new chapter. Therefore, the attention surrounding Dragon Age: The Veilguard is quite understandable.

However, this title has already sparked quite a bit of controversy since its initial release.
Several games have explored vast open-world environments, showcasing the beauty of Dragon Age: The Veilguard and offering extensive experiences in the realm of Thedas. However, the game has faced backlash, particularly from gamers in Vietnam. Even the ratings from critics vary greatly, with scores ranging from 6 to 10 out of 10. Nevertheless, Dragon Age: The Veilguard has had to confront its shortcomings, especially when compared to EA’s expectations, as the player engagement has been significantly lower than anticipated.

According to recent statistics, Dragon Age: The Veilguard has attracted about 1.5 million players in its first quarter, representing a 50% decrease compared to the company’s previous performance. This rapid decline has left many gamers feeling disheartened, even suggesting that EA may have been overly optimistic about its product. Although the game’s price is not low, reaching up to 1 million VND, the quality and performance it delivers seem to fall short of what gamers expected based on the investment required.

Alongside Dragon Age: The Veilguard, EA has also acknowledged that EA FC (formerly known as the famous FIFA series) has not maintained the same level of engagement as before.
