Master Roshi, known as Kame Sennin or the Turtle Hermit, is one of the most iconic characters in the Dragon Ball series. Interestingly, since his debut in the manga, this character has always been portrayed as an elderly man. It is worth noting that Master Roshi’s age is estimated to be between 300 and 350 years old. Throughout the timeline of the story, while other characters undergo significant changes, Master Roshi’s appearance has remained remarkably consistent.
So, have you ever wondered what Master Roshi looked like when he was a young man?

Recently, Toyotaro, the illustrator for the Dragon Ball Super manga, decided to give us a glimpse of what Master Roshi might have looked like in his youth.
In addition to Master Roshi, Toyotaro also showcased images of Master Shen (the mentor of Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu) and Master Mutaito.

Master Mutaito was a legendary martial arts master who trained both Master Roshi and Master Shen over 300 years ago.
As we can see, Master Roshi’s appearance has remained unchanged throughout the series, making him a constant presence alongside Goku. The reason for this is that almost every character in Dragon Ball shares some resemblance to Goku at some point, depending on how we perceive them.
Currently, Master Roshi does not play a significant role in the storyline, and in the end, we see him contribute his strength primarily during intense battles. He has helped Goku understand what is essential to achieve the ultimate power.
Finally, what do you think about Master Roshi’s age?
