Dragon Ball Super later introduced a new transformation for Buu, featuring a slimmer and more muscular version, who was meant to participate in the Tournament of Power. However, he ultimately did not join at the last moment. This Buu had undergone training and refinement, embodying the full potential of the pink-skinned creature, which had never been seen before, making him the strongest fighter. Yet, the fan-favorite character had never truly showcased his abilities to the fullest.
