Team Composition of TFT Set 13: Insights from Riot
One notable trend in the TFT Set 13 is the increasing preference for high-tier champions such as 6 Cost, Surveillance, and Void units. This trend makes it quite challenging to combine with high-cost units, and the team compositions of TFT are among the “heroes” of this meta. The game often only achieves 2 Cost champions as an effective way to supplement powerful compositions, especially when building teams with 4 or 6 Cost units due to limited placement options in the compositions.

However, this could change significantly in patch 13.6 when Riot decides to provide strong buffs for TFT compositions. Specifically, the 4 and 6 Cost champions of this meta will receive significant buffs, especially for the remaining champions like Blitzcrank, which will benefit greatly from these changes. Furthermore, the damage output for the Celestial trait will also help Kog’Maw deal significantly more damage in the upcoming patch version. It won’t be surprising if the Celestial – TFT composition continues to rise strongly and dominate the meta in patch 13.6.
Compositions of the TFT Set 13 Meta
In terms of design ideas, the Celestial compositions are designed as a supportive system for champions that utilize skills such as Dr. Mundo or Mordekaiser. However, the effectiveness of these compositions only becomes truly significant when reaching level 4 Celestial, which is quite challenging to achieve due to many champions in this trait having high costs that are difficult to find early on. The result is that Celestial compositions often fall into obsolescence as they cannot compete with other meta compositions.

Riot Games is also aware of this issue, which is why they have made some substantial adjustments to this trait. Notably, the damage output of Cassiopeia and Blitzcrank has been significantly buffed, enhancing their ability to deal damage and create shields. Additionally, the damage output of Silco at levels 1 and 2 stars has also been improved significantly in patch 13.6. These changes should help the Celestial compositions improve their damage output and presence in the upcoming meta.
Composition of the Chemistry Trait in TFT Set 13
With Riot Games nerfing the Chemistry trait and removing some of the powerful aspects of this trait, it has fallen into obscurity in patch 13.5 and beyond. This change has made it difficult for many players to find success with this composition, which has a high entertainment value, and Riot’s actions seem to dampen the players’ enjoyment. Therefore, in the upcoming patch 13.6, the Chemistry trait will receive strong buffs to help it regain its footing in the TFT Set 13 meta.

Specifically, the damage output from the 4 and 5 Chemistry units has been significantly increased while the thresholds at 200 and 300 points have also been buffed. Furthermore, prominent Chemistry units like Renni and Silco have also seen an increase in damage output and survivability in the upcoming patch. This enhancement should allow Chemistry players to experience a much more robust comeback during clutch moments when reaching higher thresholds at the end of games.
