The Rise of Morgana in TFT Set 13
Due to only having a base price of 1 gold and decent ability power, Morgana has always been considered a “meta pick” in TFT Set 13. The gameplay revolves around combinations related to the Flower of Evil and Sorcerer traits, utilizing this unit to support champions like Heimerdinger, Malzahar, and others to deal substantial damage. However, Patch 13.4 has made several adjustments as Riot Games has increased the damage output of this unit at all levels, allowing her to become a formidable champion.

Recognizing this change, many high-ranked players have found ways to effectively utilize Morgana in combination with the Sorcerer trait to yield impressive results. With the need for a strong front line to allow for damage distribution, Morgana fits quite well within the Evil Flower composition. Meanwhile, rerolling for Morgana can help players level up Irelia or Singed to 3 stars while ensuring a strong frontline.
Building Morgana – Sorcerer Composition in TFT Set 13
In the early game, players should focus on acquiring units like Morgana, Irelia, or Singed as early as possible. Upon reaching level 4, Vex will be a crucial addition to activate the 2 Sorcerer trait and increase mana regeneration for Morgana. Additionally, this unit can synergize well with Irelia and a single Guardian unit at level 5 to achieve a 3-unit bonus and provide additional sustain and survivability for the composition.

With a core composition being the reroll Sorcerer setup, players will not want to miss out on gaining experience early on to prioritize leveling up Morgana. After successfully upgrading key units like Irelia or Singed to 3 stars, players should quickly aim for level 7 during the mid-game to target the 4 Sorcerer – 4 Guardian trait combination. If lucky, a 1-star Illaoi at this stage can also help players secure a solid winning streak.

As the game progresses, players may want to level up to 9 and add Nunu alongside Malzahar into the composition. These units will enhance survivability, damage output, and especially with the 6 Sorcerer trait, this will drastically increase the power of the team. With the buffs and the ability to regenerate health from 6 Sorcerers, these champions can provide a significant frontline that is difficult to breach.

Some Tips for Building the Composition
To maximize damage output, Morgana should be equipped with Blue Buff, Jeweled Gauntlet, and Rabadon’s Deathcap or Infinity Orb (depending on the situation). Items like Spear of Shojin and Mystic’s Embrace will help players level up their Morgana to 3 stars faster. Moreover, items that enhance survivability for Irelia or Singed are always prioritized to give the composition more time to deal damage effectively.
