Not Just a Wealthy Tycoon, Elon Musk is Also Known for His Passion for ARPGs Like Diablo 4 and Path of Exile
Beyond his status as a billionaire, Elon Musk is frequently in the spotlight for hosting livestream gaming sessions where he discusses various projects. Additionally, he has gained recognition as one of the top players in Diablo 4, even reportedly causing the developers of Path of Exile 2 to “nervously” react due to his rapid gameplay, which far exceeds that of typical players.

Recently, Elon Musk Became a Central Figure in Controversy After a Popular Streamer Accused Him of Just “Playing for Show”
The accusation originated from Quin69, a prominent streamer in the gaming community, particularly known for playing Path of Exile 2. This streamer expressed concern that Musk’s performances during his streams lacked genuine skill, despite his high character level in Path of Exile 2. Quin69 suggested that Musk’s gameplay resembled that of someone with less experience, leading him to speculate that Musk might be investing resources to “boost” his account.

This situation suggests that Musk might be enjoying the game while still achieving notable success in his account progression. Quin69 pointed out that during Musk’s livestream sessions, he often seemed distracted, focusing more on discussions about artificial intelligence and his technology projects than on the game itself. Furthermore, the streamer noted that Musk sometimes appeared unaware of his character’s actions in Path of Exile 2, even struggling to activate the Atlas feature. Quin69 acknowledged that while Musk had some understanding of the gameplay, it was difficult to view him as a genuinely skilled player.

However, the streamer also mentioned that Musk’s engagement with Diablo 4 seemed serious and he genuinely enjoys this game. In contrast, his interactions with Path of Exile 2 may not reflect the same level of commitment, as the time spent playing could lead to significant discrepancies in gameplay quality.
