On the Day Faker Achieved a Historic Milestone, LazyFeel Received Gratitude from the LCK Community
In the competitive gaming arena, it is not uncommon to witness players encountering numerous obstacles during a match, especially in high-stakes tournaments. This is particularly true in the LCK, where teams are often reluctant to engage in skirmishes, preferring to “farm” until they reach their peak potential. If a fight does break out, it usually involves only minor skirmishes. Because of this, pentakills have become increasingly rare, especially for a team that has been competing at such a high level for many years, like Faker’s team. Recently, however, Faker managed to secure his second pentakill in his LCK career, making it even more significant.

Specifically, during the match against DRX, a skirmish near Baron led to Faker’s second pentakill after more than a decade of competitive play. This pentakill holds even greater significance for two reasons. First, May 7th was recently celebrated as the birthday of the “G.O.A.T” of League of Legends. Second, this pentakill marks T1’s third consecutive victory and is notably the first time a pentakill has occurred in the LCK involving an external player. Furthermore, both of Faker’s skins in the Hall of Legends have already featured pentakills tied to him as well.
No one embodies this moment better than LazyFeel, especially when it comes to fans of the VCS, as it holds even more meaning when he transitioned from the Vietnamese League of Legends scene. In reality, even though DRX lost and LazyFeel was carried by Faker, the opportunity to engage in a fight against T1, with Faker, and being part of a pentakill could very well be a turning point that both teams have yet to realize.

Moreover, many LCK fans have expressed their “gratitude” towards LazyFeel. One commentator noted, “As long as Faker and T1 are competing, it feels as though there is one external player contributing. Thank you, Hoàng from VCS.”
Furthermore, even when T1 is not at their best, DRX is still expected to secure victories against this team. Currently, Faker and his teammates are working hard to regain their form and are showing signs of a strong comeback.

The Pentakill May Help Faker and T1 to Achieve a Strong Comeback
In the past week, T1 has been struggling in a downturn. Despite winning two matches in the last week, they have yet to fully regain their confidence, akin to a team that has just recovered from a tough period.
However, with this pentakill, there is hope that the morale of the T1 team will rise even higher and help them make a strong run towards the playoffs, making the LCK competition even more exciting rather than just a two-horse race between Gen.G and HLE.
