Faker Expresses Trust in a Reliable Teammate
With impressive performances alongside the best roster in recent matches, T1 has begun to regain the confidence of both its fans and the League of Legends community as a whole. Notably, two names that have been at the center of T1’s controversies since the start of the 2025 season – Gumayusi and Doran – have shown excellent performances up to this point. Even Faker has to admit: “Gumayusi is a reliable teammate at T1, in my opinion.”

Specifically, Faker stated: “Gumayusi is an incredibly professional player. In my view, he is a dependable teammate at T1. He always trains diligently.” Every time he mentions these characteristics, Faker only refers to Gumayusi, and it’s not the first time he has praised his younger teammate.
Right from the start of the 2025 season, Gumayusi faced numerous challenges, mainly due to T1’s internal issues. However, with a professional demeanor, he focused on climbing the ranks and worked hard to overcome difficulties. This resilience is quite remarkable, especially considering Gumayusi has gone through many ups and downs with T1.

Faker’s Trust in Gumayusi is Justified
Currently at the MSI 2025, it can be said that Gumayusi is the most dangerous AD Carry in the tournament. Following the victory against BLG, he has risen to become the AD Carry with the highest number of kills in tournament history, with 312 eliminations, making the opposing teams feel pressured. This number surpasses Elk – the player who previously held the record with 307 eliminations. Elk was also Gumayusi’s opponent in the recent T1 – BLG match.

With the performance of both bot lane players being particularly strong, especially when playing together, T1 has a lot of confidence going into every tournament. The current bot lane duo is seen as the strongest in the professional League of Legends scene.
