Former T1 Star Accused by Famous Commentator of Being Toxic, Reportedly Clashed with Rekkles
Recently, the League of Legends community in the West was stirred up when Thorin, a well-known commentator, made some “triggering” and toxic remarks regarding T1’s star players during a livestream. He claimed that he had received some insider information indicating that T1’s star players displayed toxic behavior during scrims and were distanced from other teammates, stating they “could not handle it.”
Immediately, Thorin’s comments attracted significant attention from the European League of Legends community. Rekkles, a legendary player in the LEC, remains a prominent figure to this day. He also was the first (and only) Western player to join T1’s main roster in the LCK.
During Rekkles’ time with T1, he consistently demonstrated excellent synergy with the other superstar teammates. Even though Rekkles had experienced high points in his career, the T1 team showed him immense respect and admiration.
League of Legends Fans Debate Rekkles’ Situation
After Thorin’s comments went public, many League of Legends fans in the West expressed their disappointment towards Rekkles. It is well-known that Thorin often makes critical remarks about T1, particularly targeting Rekkles. Since the legendary player debuted in 1996, he has become a “target” for Thorin’s critiques.
Shortly after these comments emerged, Broxah, a former teammate of Rekkles, also spoke up, subtly addressing all of Thorin’s statements. Broxah himself faced criticism as many fans believed he had shared negative comments about Rekkles with Thorin.
