Genshin Impact Unveils Exciting New Version
Indeed, players have much to look forward to as version 5.7 officially launches on June 18. miHoYo has already opened the pre-registration program on their official site, offering rewards that include 30 free Primogems and various materials to support the new character Skirk.

This update is expected to encourage players to roll back or prepare to gather resources early for the standout characters in this patch. Although it’s just a minor reward, the opportunity to gain Primogems (approximately 54 rolls for F2P players in version 5.7) makes the new Primogems enticing. Players who pre-register will receive rewards through in-game mail once the patch is deployed.

Additionally, the pre-registration page provides a detailed event schedule for version 5.7, making it easier for players to track important milestones and optimize their resource gathering for the new character, Skirk. The main event titled “Battle of Imagined Arrays” will take place on June 20, promising 970 Primogems through missions and mini-games, while also featuring returning notable characters from the region of Sumeru.
Skirk and Shenhe Lead the Banner, Genshin Game Faces “Intense Competition”
In the half-banner of version 5.7, two key names feature prominently: Skirk – a Hydro-based character, and Shenhe – one of the most powerful support characters. This is a golden opportunity for players to invest their resources during Skirk’s official debut. However, due to limited free resources, getting Skirk will require players to plan their “spending” carefully, or even consider topping up.

Following the update, the appearance of Emilie and Mavuika will introduce a new build focusing on Burning (Fire Damage). While Emilie may not have the same appeal as Hu Tao, she is still a viable choice for players looking to enhance their damage output.

Although this patch is rated as a captivating update with the introduction of many new characters, version 5.7 also presents significant challenges for players due to the limited availability of resources. However, the minor rewards such as 30 Primogems from the pre-registration program, or over 900 Primogems from the main event, will certainly help players enhance their preferred characters.
