Haibara unexpectedly becomes the culprit in Conan after nearly 30 years, still angry at the detective?

Recently, Detective Conan has become a focal point for fans with the release of the 26th animated film – Black Train of Death. The decision to make Ai Haibara a main character has sparked much debate, especially regarding her “relationship” with Conan. Alongside her role, Haibara has also unexpectedly turned into a key suspect in a case.

In the latest episode of Detective Conan, Haibara finds herself unexpectedly accused by Conan right before everyone, as she is caught in a precarious situation instead of the usual detective work that involves solving cases with the help of her friends. In this episode, Conan’s class organizes a study session where even his mother, Yukiko, makes an appearance disguised as “the plump lady” Edogawa Fumiyo. However, an unexpected fire in the flower garden outside the classroom interrupts the study session.

After a prolonged process filled with suspense and teamwork, Conan discovers the culprit responsible for the fire and unexpectedly identifies Haibara as the suspect. The moment Conan finds a “murderous weapon” in Haibara’s jacket leaves everyone astonished. As a result of being “caught red-handed,” Haibara feels extremely uncomfortable, while Conan and his friends question her motives.

This shocking moment has a deeper significance behind it. Alongside Haibara, her classmate Maria is also involved, and both girls simply wanted to enjoy the study session, but Maria’s mother had other pressing matters to attend to. After this unexpected turn of events, the teacher could not keep the two girls from attending the study session, which had been organized just a month earlier in the garden. Yukiko and Professor Agasa later assist Maria in joining the session by sending her a video message.
