Moreover, Toriyama hinted at the possibility of Zamasu achieving a form with white hair during the Future Trunks saga, the third saga of Dragon Ball Super. Zamasu’s transformation features white hair, and it is believed that this could connect to the new Super Saiyan transformations. However, since then, there has been no official mention of a transformation called Super Saiyan White.
Nevertheless, fans are still eagerly anticipating Goku’s transition into Super Saiyan White and have put forth various theories explaining how Goku could unlock this powerful transformation. With the ongoing developments in the manga, it is possible that Goku might achieve the Super Saiyan White form at some point.
Theories Explaining Goku’s Transformation Into Super Saiyan White
One theory raised by u/The_Deprived_99 on Reddit suggests that Goku could blend the powers of Ultra Instinct and Super Saiyan to become Super Saiyan White. In the Dragon Ball storyline, Ultra Instinct separates the consciousness from the body, allowing Goku to fully control his emotional state.
On the other hand, the transformation into Super Saiyan White might require Goku to reach a certain level of mastery over his emotions. This aspect of transformation has been explored with Goku and Gohan during the Cell Games Saga when they were training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. This transformation was later referred to as Full Power Super Saiyan.
Therefore, there is at least one variant of the Super Saiyan form that Goku can control emotionally and could potentially utilize. From this, it is theorized that if Goku combines his base form of Super Saiyan with Ultra Instinct, he might unlock Super Saiyan White and access this latent power within himself.
