HLE Continues Its Journey to Vietnam: A Shocking Announcement Leaves Fans in Disbelief
In recent years, LCK teams have increased their interest in the VCS region significantly, with several teams or even entire rosters making plans to explore this vibrant market. Notably, the insurance brand Hanwha Life, which is associated with the team, is not too far from the Vietnamese audience. Recently, this organization announced the upcoming FANFEST event to be held in Ho Chi Minh City on June 18, featuring all five team members.

As such, HLE will be the first LCK team to visit Vietnam for two consecutive years. Additionally, Peanut will also be the first LCK player to return to Vietnam for the third time. For those who may not know, Peanut previously visited Vietnam while competing for Gen.G. At that time, this team traveled to Vietnam for MSI 2019 but could not secure a spot in the tournament and ended up splitting the team to compete elsewhere due to financial constraints.
However, the detail causing the community to hesitate most is the ticket prices for the event. According to the announcement, the highest ticket price is around 400,000 VND per person for the best seats. Given the popularity of HLE in the League of Legends community currently, which includes three championship-winning teams, the ticket prices could be considered quite steep and carry a “fan appreciation” element.

Vietnamese League of Legends Community Worries About Competitive Ticket Prices for HLE’s Event
However, with the high ticket prices, many fans are concerned about the difficulty of obtaining tickets. Firstly, the event venue, Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Center, has a limited capacity (around 2,000 seats). Moreover, holding the event in Ho Chi Minh City will also require many fans to travel long distances, potentially incurring additional costs for food and accommodation.

Despite these challenges, there is a great opportunity to meet top LCK stars, particularly since HLE has strengthened its roster with Zeus – a player who has many fans from his time with T1. This will likely lead to intense competition among fans for tickets, making the race for MSI 2025 a significant event for HLE in their current stage.
