Fruits Basket – Breaking the Curse
The story revolves around the main character, Tohru Honda, a high school girl who is kind-hearted, cheerful, and a bit clumsy. After losing her mother in a car accident, Tohru finds herself living in a tent in the woods.
Tohru eventually meets Shigure Sohma and Yuki Sohma, discovering the secret of the Sohma family: they are cursed to transform into animals of the Chinese zodiac when hugged by someone of the opposite gender. Tohru’s life changes drastically as she learns about this secret, and those who know the Sohma family’s curse will strive to break it.
