T1 Secures a Victory Against HLE in the Spring 2022 Tournament
With a flawless victory by T1 in their recent match against HLE, there are many aspects to discuss regarding the performance of both teams, especially considering that both were in the top 3 of the LCK standings and T1 had previously faced numerous defeats against HLE since the start of the 2024 season. Recent statistics indicate that HLE lost due to weaker performance compared to T1, although they aspire to secure victory in the upcoming 2024 World Championship (CKTG). One key factor is the synergy among T1’s five players during the Road to MSI 2025 tournament.

Specifically, throughout the seven matches of T1’s Road to MSI 2025, five players showcased nearly all unique champions. Three out of five T1 members did not use any champions more than twice. In contrast, Keria and Doran were the only two players to use one champion twice, with Keria opting for Rakan and Doran for Gwen.

However, the choices made by Keria and Doran are entirely justifiable. Gwen is a champion that HLE players have utilized effectively, showcasing her as one of the strongest picks in the LCK this season. On the other hand, Rakan is a champion that excels in team fights at the current stage of the game. If Keria does not utilize this champion effectively, players like Peter or Delight could pose significant threats. Notably, Rakan is also the go-to champion for Delight.

More importantly, this scenario reveals a significant truth: it is very challenging to defeat T1, especially when they regain their high positioning and properly utilize their strengths against the competition. T1 must not only focus on defeating other teams but also maintain their focus on their gameplay strategy to maximize their performance.

If T1 Maintains Their Current Performance, MSI 2025 Will Be Within Reach
Looking ahead, T1 will face some formidable opponents on the international stage. However, given their recent performance against HLE, many T1 fans feel hopeful for a comeback. If T1 sustains their current level of play, MSI 2025 will be well within their grasp, especially considering that T1 previously had a very promising early season in 2025.
