Popular Streamer S. Faces Backlash for Controversial Comments
It can be said that the Vietnamese online community, particularly fans of League of Legends, experienced a significant event recently on the evening of March 26. Notably, one of the most prominent streamers in Vietnam – S. – had a “var check” incident with L.C, a TikToker known for the group “making too many good things.” However, just recently, S. faced another “check var” situation due to a controversial remark made not long ago.
Specifically, shortly after his “reappearance,” S. was spotted at an event location, drawing considerable attention from attendees. Many people sought to check in with the famous streamer. During the peak moment, S. made a statement encouraging participants to engage with the event, including a line: “Just have fun, why not?”
The Community Acknowledges Streamer S.’s “Self-Destruction”
Since his “reappearance,” it must be acknowledged that S. has shown some improved attitudes and fewer alarming statements or overly sensitive content. However, his tendency to create “over-the-top” content has become quite familiar. Besides making controversial remarks about sensitive topics, S. recently had a “heated exchange” with Zeros, using informal and casual language.
Despite the clear acknowledgment that the streamer has “crossed the line” with his personal remarks that are sensitive, the community still cannot ignore these incidents. It’s just that currently, the level of backlash may still be in its early stages, and it remains to be seen if S. will continue to produce such content in the future.
