inZOI – A New Life Simulation Game, Is It The Sims 2.0?
When we talk about The Sims, it’s hard to deny that this game series is no longer just a title from the past. First launched in the year 2000, The Sims has become one of the most successful brands in gaming history, allowing players to build, manage lives, and develop relationships among characters just like in real life.

Now, after two decades, we are introduced to a potential new contender that promises to enhance and revive the vibrant essence of The Sims. This title is inZOI – a game developed by Krafton. Notably, inZOI is set to launch its early access version on Steam on March 28, with new information and a preview of the DLC scheduled for announcement on March 19.

“Adult Themes” in The Sims and its 18+ Elements
As a life simulation game, it’s essential to note that when inZOI is introduced, it comes alongside the full spectrum of adult themes that this genre allows. Similar to The Sims, the “18+” label has gained significant attention as inZOI prepares to launch.

In The Sims series, 18+ interactions are often represented in a playful manner under the term “WooHoo,” featuring various light-hearted activities. Currently, players of inZOI are exploring the gameplay mechanics that allow for these interactions, whether they are realistic or not. Recently, Krafton’s lead producer, Joel Lee, confirmed that “the game simulates intimate behavior between male and female characters,” but “it will not be shown directly; instead, players will have to use their imagination to interpret the scenes.”

Thus, it appears that inZOI is also placing significant emphasis on sensitive themes. However, it is still unclear how the game will specifically depict these intimate interactions. Although details are yet to be unveiled, inZOI has certainly generated buzz and has left the gaming community eager for its release.
