The manga series Jujutsu Kaisen is currently focusing on the climactic battle between Yuji and Sukuna. The sorcerer is determined to save his friend Megumi Fushiguro at all costs. He also has a strategy to deal with Sukuna after the character suffers severe injuries in the extended battle.
The conflict begins with Gojo facing off against Sukuna, and the cast has been continuously engaged in battles against Kashimo, Yuji, Higuruma, Maki, Choso, Ino, Kusakabe, and Yuta. Each character has successfully completed their respective roles as Yuji prepares for the final showdown.
However, despite all efforts, Sukuna does not seem to have any intention of retreating. The battle will continue until the editorial team confirms that it will conclude in chapter 266, which is expected to be released next week.

The showdown between Sukuna and Yuji in the Shinjuku Showdown arc will wrap up in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 267 on August 25, 2024. However, this date only marks the release of the final battle in the Shinjuku Showdown arc and not the release date of the manga itself.
Prior to this announcement, fans expressed their excitement: “Honestly speaking, it’s been a while since I’ve felt this excited. But this battle is not to be missed with Gojo facing Sukuna.”
“Even though the hype is building to a peak! Will Yuji’s final arrow find its mark? Will this be Sukuna’s last stand? There are so many possibilities; my heart can’t take it! But the real question is: will Gojo make an appearance to create a diversion or not?” added another enthusiastic fan.

In May 2024, Jujutsu Kaisen announced that this would be the final arc or saga of the manga. To accompany the intense battle conclusion, a new secret will be revealed.
However, fans are not overly optimistic about this, given that previously My Hero Academia teased a new arc but later turned it into a controversial discussion about the level of excitement globally.
Weekly Shonen Jump hinted at the conclusion of the Shinjuku Showdown arc, stating: “Akutami Gege’s Jujutsu Kaisen will appear on the cover page of Weekly Shonen Jump issue 39/2024, releasing on August 26 to promote the climax of ‘Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown!’ Stay tuned for details on the characters that fans love getting revealed for the fourth time.”
Although anticipation is high, the manga will not conclude abruptly after the battle. Currently, there has been no confirmation regarding the release date for the final volume of the manga.
