Choso faced death in the most tragic way possible. He created a barrier of blood around Yuji to protect him from Sukuna’s malevolent intentions. Inside the confines of the barrier, which Choso had erected, he expressed his feelings to Yuji, saying, “I feel utterly useless in training; I can only act on instinct.”
The scene then shifts to a moment at the dining table, reflecting Choso’s thoughts (while knowing Yuji is his younger brother in Shibuya). This time, almost all the chairs were empty, leaving only the two brothers sitting at the end of a long table. In this world, Choso felt proud of Yuji because he had learned techniques faster than he did. He also noted that younger siblings must surpass their older brothers.
Yuji was shocked when he realized that Choso was about to disappear. However, Choso mentioned that he also needed to apologize to Yuji for having to take on that form once again. Choso also talked about Eso and Kechizu.
In a moment of sincerity, Choso’s final words were, “Thank you, Yuji, for allowing me to be your brother.” Yuji responded, “Brother. Thank you” as the barrier of blood surrounded them tightly.
For a brief time, Choso stood beside Yuji, feeling like a human and a brother to him. Thus, despite being born with a curse, he lived as a human for a few days and died as a curse.
