As we approach the final parts of Jujutsu Kaisen, it’s undeniable that Gojo Satoru is the most powerful sorcerer. His abilities stem from his innate talents, inheriting the powers of Unlimited (無量空処) and Six Eyes (六眼), a combination that hasn’t been seen in over 400 years.
You could say that Gojo’s existence has altered the balance of the entire world. However, this doesn’t mean he is not working hard to maintain his current position. Despite being a prodigy, Gojo dedicates a lot of time to perfecting his abilities to the utmost level.
He has unlocked his full potential and stands as one of the strongest and most creative warriors seen in the series. His skills, along with innate talent, have placed Gojo at the top, making him the strongest sorcerer today. Some even compare his abilities to those of Ryomen Sukuna. In the Shinjuku Showdown, Gojo had the opportunity to test his skills against the King of Curses.
Unfortunately, Gojo was unable to secure victory, but the battle was still fierce. He almost achieved success, had luck been on his side. In the end, he lost, and with that defeat, he also lost the title of the strongest sorcerer. Now, this position is up for grabs, and many are eager to see who will inherit it after the battle in Shinjuku.
The Impending Fall of Sukuna

Before discussing who will be the strongest sorcerer, we must mention Sukuna, who is currently the focal point of attention in Jujutsu Kaisen. Sukuna has been wreaking havoc in Shinjuku and needs to be contained. The sorcerers have assembled a team to confront the King of Curses, and it won’t be an easy task.
Sukuna is relentless in his assault against everyone and seems to be nearly unstoppable. However, at some point, Sukuna will have to descend, and this is crucial for the outcome of the story.
The one who will likely end Sukuna’s reign could be Yuji Itadori. Some may disagree, but Yuji will play a pivotal role in the upcoming Shinjuku Showdown. When this happens, the final battle will commence, leading to a debate over who is the strongest sorcerer.
The Remaining Strongest Sorcerers

As we begin to see who the strongest sorcerer will be by the end of Jujutsu Kaisen, a few names emerge to capture attention. First, we have Yuta Okkotsu, who is considered the successor to Gojo. Yuta is exceptionally strong, and his bond with Rika further enhances his power.
He has also mastered reverse cursed techniques and possesses greater cursed energy than Gojo. Considering all these factors, Yuta is undoubtedly one of the contenders for the title of the strongest sorcerer after Gojo’s era.
Next is Kinji Hakari, who Gojo has acknowledged as a potential threat. However, between him and Yuta, there seems to be a slight advantage for Yuta. And we cannot forget Maki, who, despite lacking cursed energy, has demonstrated incredible growth and strength. Sukuna even holds Maki in high regard, as she has caused him significant trouble over time.
Or the talented Hiromi Higuruma, if he is properly utilized, he could also contend for the title of the strongest sorcerer. Yet, the one with the highest chance of claiming this title remains Yuji, the main character of the series. Yuji needs to harness his potential to become the strongest sorcerer. He has already shown tremendous ability in the Shinjuku Showdown and is progressing rapidly. At this moment, Yuji has mastered reverse cursed techniques and is channeling blood.
He still has many opportunities for development and might even expand his abilities. The potential to utilize cursed energy will only increase, and eventually, as he battles Sukuna, he will become one of the strongest we have ever seen.
Of course, there is always the possibility that Gojo will return from the dead. If that happens, there’s no need to say, he would reclaim his title as the strongest sorcerer, which would undoubtedly make many fans incredibly happy.
