T1 Shows Signs of Revival with Impressive Achievements in the Beginning of the 2025 Regular Season
After the 2025 LCK Cup, it cannot be said that T1 has succeeded. T1 has entered the 2025 Regular Season with several challenges ahead. However, the ongoing personnel policy changes and the transition to a new home ground in preparation for the 2024 World Championship may become a double-edged sword. They could potentially lose to OKSavingsBank BRION or BNK FearX right after their recent victory over Dplus KIA. Nevertheless, T1 has achieved its best performance since the start of the 2025 Regular Season, securing two consecutive victories.

Of course, in both matches, T1’s opponents were not particularly strong. One was the Freecs team, which is currently at the bottom of the standings with a record of losses. The other was KT Rolster, which is even in a worse state than T1. However, the important thing is that T1 is actively seeking solutions to improve their gameplay, which is still functioning better than before.
Doran has shown significant improvement, especially when supported by Oner in key moments, allowing him to play with confidence and perform well in his role. On the other hand, if Faker is not under too much pressure, he can play well and contribute to making plays or farming effectively. Importantly, in both matches, Oner displayed high performance. Meanwhile, Gumayusi has also shown resilience, managing to overcome mental pressure while helping “release” Keria from his supporting role to roam and gank across the map.

Importantly, the T1 players have shown signs of synergy and teamwork returning. In both matches, although there were moments of hesitation, compared to their losses against FOX or BRO, these are positive signs.
T1 Should Set Higher Goals – The Quest for the World Championship
When comparing to the World Championship, MSI 2025 clearly presents a daunting challenge for T1. There are signs of revival, but teams like HLE and Gen.G are still performing at a high level. And it’s only through unexpected turns or the two teams facing off that may open up opportunities for T1.
Instead, Faker and his teammates should focus on the World Championship 2025 and also aim for the highest honors in the LCK at the end of the season. These are the higher goals, as T1 has been underperforming after the prolonged reign of the “big two.”
