After the vibrant first poster, Ly Hai has just released the trailer for Lat Mat 6: Tam Ve Dinh Menh, revealing a narrative that is anything but predictable. The teaser hints at a significant detail regarding the “Tam Ve” or “VNP” being referenced in the film’s title. The “Tam Ve” has a value of 10,000 dong and is associated with the numbers “destiny” which include 10, 16, 18, 20, 27, and 28 – all of which are the birth dates of six main characters.
The “Tam Ve” following An’s descent into madness captures the essence of the characters’ struggle. The group consists of five remaining members, who are eager to confront the chilling fate that awaits them, as the consequences of their actions weigh heavily. “We agree to sacrifice everything for money,” a quote from actor Huy Khanh leaves viewers in deep thought and anticipation for the film’s next developments.
In addition to the central theme of betrayal, the emotional depth and the various comedic elements are more pronounced this time. Ly Hai has decided to shift the tone of Lat Mat by introducing more heartfelt moments that have not appeared in previous installments of the series. Besides the familiar faces of the Lat Mat franchise such as Tiet Cuong, Huy Khanh, Quach Ngoc Tuyen, Hoang Meo, the film will also feature contributions from several notable names like Quoc Cuong, Trung Dung, Thanh Thuc, Diep Bao Ngoc, among others. The film is set to premiere on April 28, 2023.
