The Niffler
The Niffler is a charming little creature that is attracted to shiny objects, such as gold and silver. Every shiny item that it discovers is hoarded in its burrow. A Niffler resembles a cross between a mole and a duck-billed platypus. These creatures are commonly used by treasure hunters due to their instinctive attraction to anything glittering.
Bowtruckle
The design of characters for Fantastic Beasts required careful crafting to create the Bowtruckle. There have been over 200 drafts created for this creature before it was finalized in the film. The main character, Newt Scamander, is known to have four Bowtruckles, which are quite difficult to find in the wild. Bowtruckles primarily feed on insects, and while they can be tricky to capture, they are very loyal once caught.
Thunderbird
The Thunderbird is a magical creature native to Arizona and is one of the reasons Scamander had to embark on a dangerous journey to this region. This creature also symbolizes a powerful magical house. The Thunderbird is an incredibly strong being, resembling a giant bird that can create storms. They have highly sensitive senses, allowing them to detect dangers nearby.
Swooping Evil
Swooping Evil resembles a hybrid creature between a snake and a butterfly. Most of the time, Swooping Evil resides within a blue cocoon. When it emerges, it transforms into a remarkably agile creature with long wings. Although they appear beautiful, they are quite dangerous as they possess the ability to suck the brains of humans and are often used to erase memories.
Demiguise
The Demiguise resembles a large, fluffy creature with deep black fur and large, dark eyes. Their fur allows them to change shape at will, making it extremely difficult to capture them. Demiguises are generally quite peaceful, but when threatened, they can become aggressive and dangerous. Their fur has the potential to increase in value based on demand.
Occamy
The Occamy, with its feathered wings and clawed feet, resembles a serpentine creature that is part bird. They are known to inhabit various environments, often seen nesting in silver-plated structures. This species can reach varying sizes depending on the habitat they live in.
