Ngô Thanh Vân has recently stirred excitement among her Vietnamese fans by announcing her appearance in the upcoming Hollywood film titled “The Creator” (Vietnamese title: Kẻ kiến tạo), set to be released on September 29, 2023. On her fanpage, the actress shared: “The Creator – premiering on September 29, 2023. I participated in the filming last year. Therefore, I am very happy to introduce this project to everyone, along with Hollywood’s next venture. This time, I play the role of Kami, a female version of a robot in a futuristic world.”

“The Creator” is set in a futuristic landscape where an advanced A.I. is created to protect humans, leading to an unexpected conflict in Los Angeles. This conflict escalates into a war between humanity and machines. The losing party faces the threat of extinction. Joshua, played by John David Washington, is a professional mercenary enlisted to hunt down the Creator, an advanced A.I. that has developed a mysterious and powerful form capable of wiping out humanity, thus ending the war.
However, Joshua discovers that the Creator is merely a girl named Alfie (portrayed by Madeleine Yuna Voyles). Without hesitation, Joshua is forced to protect Alfie amidst the fierce pursuit from both sides. Nevertheless, he is faced with the ultimate dilemma – to save a young girl or watch humanity face extinction.

The teaser trailer for “The Creator” showcases a stunning futuristic world filled with advanced technology and spectacular landscapes where machines are indistinguishable from humans. The film’s action sequences are visually impressive, featuring numerous battle scenes and explosive effects. Directed by Gareth Edwards, known for his work on “Godzilla” (2014) and “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” (2016), it’s no surprise that he has crafted a captivating immersive universe.

In addition to its stunning visuals, “The Creator” promises to be a story rich in existential themes, exploring the meaning of life and emotions, existence, and the fine line that differentiates humanity from machines.
