Oner Reveals Secrets About the 2024 Worlds Skin and Faker’s Exclusive Skin
One of the crucial elements that can “erase” the spirit of fans of T1 following the recent drama is undoubtedly the upcoming 2024 Worlds skin. The skin will be launched soon (typically during the mid-year period). With T1 becoming the first team to win the Worlds championship consecutively twice, the 2024 skin is expected to be grand, matching the historic achievements of the team in League of Legends. Notably, Faker’s MVP skin is expected to be particularly special.

Recently, during a post-match interview after their victory against Nongshim RedForce, Oner brought exciting news that thrilled the League of Legends community and fans of T1 and Faker in particular. Specifically, Faker will be the first player in League of Legends history to have two skins for two different champions in the same line of Worlds skins. According to Oner, the two champions chosen will be Sylas and Yone.

Previously, leaked information indicated that the Yone skin would be a Prestige Edition for the Worlds MVP, which suggests that the Sylas skin would be a standard skin. However, many fans expressed disappointment about the lack of a Galio skin. This champion could be seen as a “signature champ” for Faker, marking significant victories for the “Unkillable Demon King.” Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if Riot has taken into account Galio’s revenue potential should he be chosen as a skin.
Furthermore, unlike Galio, Sylas is a champion that can fit into multiple meta styles, while Yone is clearly a champion that is more suitable for a skin. Therefore, Faker’s decision not to select Galio also makes sense.

Oner Evaluates T1’s 2024 Skin as the Best So Far
Not only revealing details about the 2024 Worlds skin honoring T1, Oner also emphasized that this skin line will be the most visually stunning from previous years to date. This is also what T1 fans have been eagerly waiting for since the days when it was still known as SKT T1. In previous years, the skin lines were not particularly striking due to the limitations of design technology. Meanwhile, the 2023 Worlds skin, while quite elegant, still lacked the distinctive features that T1 fans expect.
