On February 29, Playboy unveiled the cover design for its March issue in the Netherlands, featuring 22-year-old model Hieke Konings as the central figure. She appears in a semi-nude state, showcasing her alluring physique alongside a captivating gaze. However, what makes Konings the focal point of attention is her story about a brief encounter with Leonardo DiCaprio during a subsequent interview.
The blonde model revealed that the two met at a private event in Los Angeles, where only a select group of guests were invited. She noticed the 49-year-old actor sitting in a dimly lit corner, dressed in a hoodie and wearing dark shades. “We communicated through glances,” she recalled.
According to Konings, DiCaprio’s manager approached her, stating, “Leo wants to talk to you.” This gesture made the young model think of the notorious Hollywood rumor that Leonardo only dates women under 25.
Konings claimed that the two shared a warm embrace. However, she did not rate DiCaprio highly in terms of relationship potential, describing him as “not bad, but certainly not the best I’ve ever met.”
Konings has also recently encountered another star from the film Killers of the Flower Moon, but she rejected his advances.
“He was very charming. Of course, he is not used to being turned down. When I told him I wasn’t really into him, he was taken aback. I respect the fact that he approached me. After that, he turned to another girl and brought her home,” she said.
Although Konings has not previously dated DiCaprio, she mentioned that a friend of hers had experienced something similar and told her some amusing stories about the actor.
“A friend told me he wore headphones during intimate moments because he didn’t want to hear her talk. Another girl even claimed he placed his phone on her head. Leo is quite peculiar and strange,” the friend shared.
Leonardo DiCaprio and the representative have not commented on the revelations made by the model.
It remains unclear when Konings met DiCaprio, but he has recently been rumored to be dating Italian model Vittoria Ceretti. The star appears to be enjoying a relationship, seemingly moving away from his previous pattern of dating women under 25, as Ceretti was born in 1998. They were last spotted together in August 2023, enjoying ice cream in Santa Barbara, California.
Sources indicate that he “is smitten” with Ceretti. Meanwhile, those close to Leo suggest he is happier with this model because she possesses all the qualities he seeks in a partner.
