Are the members of the Justice League in trouble as Midway City is under attack?
If you’ve seen previous DC films, you’ll understand that the destruction caused by Enchantress is quite significant, rivaling that of General Zod or Doomsday. The timeline of this catastrophe seems to be quite long, so it’s certain that the superheroes of the Justice League (who haven’t formed yet) could be watching and taking note.
However, while the Suicide Squad is gathering and being flown in to handle the situation, we don’t see any superheroes appearing at all. Where are they? What are they doing that they can’t show up to save the day?
Why does Captain Boomerang have a fondness for a stuffed toy kangaroo?
One of the characters that appears in the film is Captain Boomerang. While the filmmakers have developed this character in various ways, every portrayal has made Captain Boomerang incredibly quirky. One of the details that leaves the audience confused is that this criminal has a strong fondness for a stuffed toy kangaroo.
It’s clear that this is a detail that perplexes the audience, but looking at it from a different angle, it could… seem meaningless as we don’t get any additional information that would explain why Captain Boomerang has such an affinity for a stuffed kangaroo. Is it just a quirky obsession, or is there a deeper story behind it?
Why doesn’t Enchantress die when Waller stabs her heart?
Another puzzling detail is Waller using Enchantress’s heart to keep her from dying. According to the storyline, it’s quite strange that when the heart of a being is taken, it signifies the end of that being’s life.
However, when Waller stabs this heart, we only see the being in pain, and then her brother seems to perform some sort of magic that makes her completely calm right afterward. This raises the question of whether taking the heart is as fatal as we thought.
Does Batman have any connection to the Suicide Squad?
In the film’s post-credit scene, we see Bruce Wayne (played by Ben Affleck) meeting with Waller and through this conversation, it appears that Batman is aware of the events happening in Midway City.
However, in the film, we learn that Van Criss’s lab is located in Wayne Manor and is responsible for creating super bombs that are planted on the members of the Suicide Squad. So surely Batman must have been aware of the existence of this dangerous team before and known about the impending catastrophe in Midway City?
