Peanut Achieves “GOAT of LCK” Status After Dominating the Competition
On April 17th, HLE secured a significant victory against DRX with a score of 2-0, marking another notable win for the team. The considerable gap in the performance of both teams led many experts to predict this outcome for Peanut and his team. A particularly standout moment in this match was when Zeus opted for a powerful Nidalee strategy, showcasing exceptional gameplay.

This victory not only adds to HLE’s achievements but also elevates Peanut’s status, as he reached a milestone of 500 wins in LCK. Notably, Peanut is now only behind Faker in total wins within the league. Peanut has also become the first player to hit this milestone, which is why the title of “GOAT of LCK” seems fitting given this impressive accomplishment. After learning about his milestone, Peanut expressed confidence in his team’s chances of securing further international titles such as MSI and Worlds.

“Honestly, I didn’t expect to reach 500 wins in LCK so soon. I only know that Faker has more wins than me. So, this milestone is truly significant, and I feel very fortunate to have such a long career. However, I still haven’t achieved a Worlds title, so I will strive hard to attain that goal. Currently, HLE is in great form, and I believe we can secure both MSI and Worlds titles this season,” Peanut shared after the match against DRX.

Peanut Seeks a Worlds Title to Complete His Career
As of now, Peanut has entered his tenth year in professional gaming and has remarkably achieved 500 wins in LCK, marking a notable record in his lengthy career. Although he has won multiple LCK championships and secured the MSI title, the Worlds title remains an elusive dream for him and his team. Peanut’s closest encounter with a Worlds title was in 2017 when he fell short against Samsung Galaxy while playing for SK Telecom T1, a setback that still lingers in his professional journey.

With HLE currently performing strongly, the team is eager for further victories. Moreover, HLE’s recent performance has been outstanding, achieving four consecutive wins in LCK, despite a tough start against Gen.G. This momentum is certainly propelling HLE toward becoming a formidable contender in both LCK and MSI. As for the 2025 Worlds, it is still too early to predict, but Peanut and his team are determined to secure a championship. However, if they continue to perform at this level, it will be challenging to exclude HLE from the competition for the Worlds title in 2025.
