Gen.G Coach Admits “Warning” After Losing to T1
The highlight of Week 3 of the LCK Cup 2025 was undoubtedly the clash between Gen.G and T1. “I am genuinely disappointed because Gen.G lost in this significant match. The positions we were in needed to be executed much stronger compared to what happened. However, the misplay by Canyon at the start when attempting to execute T1’s strategy completely derailed our game plan. The defeat at Atakhan was merely the consequence of a series of mistakes we made earlier,” Coach Kim expressed regretfully.
Gen.G Needs Significant Improvement After Loss to T1
Since joining Gen.G, Canyon has consistently been regarded as a reliable player, even being dubbed the “carry” in many matches. However, the recent blunders of this team in their last match have “sounded the alarm” for Gen.G, who cannot afford to overlook and ignore the aftermath of their defeat against T1. It is clear that when a player with “prestige” like Canyon begins to make serious mistakes, the fans are entitled to raise concerns about the overall strength of the team.
Looking ahead to the LCK Cup 2025, Gen.G cannot afford to maintain the pressure they have faced in recent seasons.
