The Most Anticipated Content from Black Myth: Wukong at Present is Nothing Else but the Upcoming DLC Versions.
Previously, there were numerous reports confirming that the DLCs for Black Myth: Wukong have already been completed, and many believe that DLC 1 will be released during this Lunar New Year. However, as the Lunar New Year approaches, players of Black Myth: Wukong are already speculating, as if they have “written” before the official announcements.

And now, there has been another hint that firmly suggests the debut of the first DLC for Black Myth: Wukong will occur during the upcoming event.
According to a post on Reddit, a game developer has confirmed that someone is working for Game Science, the development company, and has leaked a fair amount of confidential information, as detailed below.
_ Almost the entire Game Science team has gone to a seafood restaurant to discuss sales strategies for the first week following the game’s launch (the developer mentioned in the story also joined).
_ Two DLCs are on the schedule, each containing three chapters. The first DLC is expected to be released on August 20, 2025. A teaser will be revealed during the Lunar New Year (note that August 20 is also the official release date for Black Myth: Wukong).
_ There will be 2-3 patches released before the DLC, aimed at improving performance and adding additional features like boss rush modes. Cooperative/PvP gameplay is still a topic of much debate in the community, and we may not see it in the near future.
_ The first DLC will be as extensive as chapters 2, 3, and 5 of the original game, with several new areas introduced in the gameplay.
_ A new armor set (not yet revealed) and a new weapon (spear, inspired by Nezha) will be featured in the first DLC.
_ Game Science’s art director is currently leading a team in Dong Huang and Tây Tạng to seek inspiration, particularly in regions renowned in China for their rich cultural ties to Buddhism.
_ There are some unfortunate news regarding XBOX; Game Science initially wanted to release on XBOX, but Microsoft has not yet responded. Currently, only two developers are helping to optimize the game. Performance is still an issue; on XSX, the game only runs at 30 fps, while on XSS, it ranges from 7 to 12 fps. Therefore, Game Science has also formed a specialized team to work with two representatives from Microsoft, but it is unclear how each conversation will unfold.
_ Game Science aims to integrate 108 unique elements into the game. So far, there are 54 unique elements and 10 magical abilities. There are still 44 additional elements reserved for the two DLCs. The expected price for each DLC is expected to be 22, with a total of 20 new unique elements and 2 new magical abilities. Therefore, there will be around 30 unique elements for each DLC, averaging about 10 per chapter.

The accuracy of the information from this “developer” remains uncertain, but this also gives fans of Black Myth: Wukong a reason to keep waiting. In the meantime, it would be wise to keep an eye on the upcoming Lunar New Year for any teaser of the game that hasn’t been released yet.
