Jennie’s recent debut as an actress in the project The Idol has received mixed reviews, with many noting that the BLACKPINK member’s performance did not meet expectations, often described as lacking depth and presence. However, Jennie’s journey into acting is just beginning, and the upcoming project may well stir considerable excitement.

According to information from Dipe Dispatch and leaks from Pop Base, Jennie and Marvel Studios are currently in negotiations for a series titled Team Agents of Atlas. If the discussions go smoothly, the BLACKPINK rapper will portray the superhero Luna Snow.
Born Seol Hee, Luna Snow possesses cryokinetic abilities, allowing her to manipulate ice and snow, as well as potentially regenerate from injuries. In the Marvel universe, Seol Hee is also a K-pop idol, leading a fictional music group called 4L1T.

This news gained traction following Jennie’s exposure in The Idol. Currently, there are many details that excite fans, as it appears Jennie is preparing for this distinctive role. Several Marvel stars, including Benedict Wong, Simu Liu, and Claudia Kim, have already followed Jennie on Instagram. Additionally, “Shang-Chi” actor Simu Liu and “Ant-Man” actress Kathryn Newton were spotted attending a BLACKPINK concert in Los Angeles.
Moreover, a recent photo of Jennie and Park Seo Joon at a Chanel event on June 1 further suggests that the BLACKPINK member may soon join the Marvel cinematic universe. Park Seo Joon is the first Korean actor to enter the Marvel films, set to debut as Prince Yan in The Marvels.

Aside from Jennie, many other names are being considered by Marvel for Team Agents of Atlas. Actress Park Shin Hye has also been mentioned, alongside two 90s actors from the Chinese film industry, Angela Baby and Quan Hiểu Đồng. It seems that Team Agents of Atlas is highly anticipated and has the potential to become one of the biggest Marvel blockbusters in the coming years.
