Riot’s statistics indicate that T1 has the highest difference in kills among the top ten players listed, with Gumayusi boasting an impressive 19.5 kill lead over his jungle opponent after just the first 15 minutes of the game. This demonstrates Gumayusi’s strong ability to dominate his lane.
This statistic is particularly important as the early game phase can determine the potential for a team to secure a “perfect game” or face significant disadvantages. Moreover, with the current meta featuring many skirmishes during the laning phase and the lane swap strategies of 2024, having top laners adapt to flexible playstyles has become essential.
